Saw THE MOVIE. Not bad really. Had its moments. Would see it again. The transforming effects were neat but too often the view was so close in you couldn't always get the full gist of the transformation. Also the two fights that they built up to but were NOT SEEN - namely Bumblebee vs Barricade and Prime vs Megatron - all this build up and those sequences turned into background scenery. WTFuck?

Goddamnit...I thought the little one would be startled by the explosions and other shit. To the contrary, she's putting on the Prime helmet and spouting "I am Optimus Prime"! Awesome...except that now she's asking me "what's masturbation?" Fucking Michael Bay - ruined so many childhoods.

Not too interested in paying $50+ for Mario Party 8 (Wii) but I managed to get Mario Party 6 (GameCube) for about $5 ($10 - $5 Transformers Movie TRU giftcard) at the Times Square TRU, new of course.

Hey it works just fine on the Wii, so meh.

Also, GameStop's been having some clearance sales last couple of weeks on select game titles and UMD movies. Picked up Rumble Roses (PS2) for $5 (hey it's T&A and rasslin) and a few UMD movies for $5 a pop. Honestly that's about what I'm willing to pay for em. UMD movies typically don't give you the same feature set as their DVD counterparts but yet would be more expensive? Fuck that. No wonder that market's tanking.

Man I love this transition time between console generations. Lots of good stuff being blown out to make shelf space available for the newer stuff.
